These large (38" x 50") oil stick drawing/paintings are composed to be seen in all four directions. They are layered -- acrylic wash and many overdrawings of pure pigment. I'm always working on one or more.
These are very small (4" x 6") landscape images. Begun in the field, they often require studio work to modify, rework, and bring to a satisfying wholeness. Painting the wild spaces is a prayer and a joy.
